eReferral is a key initiative part of Ontario’s digital health transformation mission and supports the province’s goal of having a more connected, efficient and patient-centred health care system. With Ontario Health continuing to expand adoption province-wide, clinics that are not yet onboarded are encouraged to join us in advancing this mission. Amplify Care’s eReferral Deployment Team will walk you through what’s new, deployment team support, the onboarding process and answer any questions you have about eReferral Ontario. An overview of the eReferral solution will also be provided.

What is eReferral?

Electronic Referral (eReferral) is a secure digital platform that streamlines referrals between primary care and specialists, enhancing communication and patient experience. It offers seamless EMR integration (Accuro, OSCAR Pro, TELUS PS Suite) and standardized eReferral forms to reduce administrative burdens for both senders and receivers.

eReferral | Ontario Health is a provincially funded initiative – no cost to your clinic to participate, with onboarding, training, and ongoing support included!

Today, eReferral is used by more than 10,000 family physicians, 3,000 specialists, and 2,400 nurse practitioners across Ontario.
