Ocean to Excelicare RMS
The Ontario eServices Program has partnered with Axsys Technology Ltd to enable healthcare providers to send patient referrals electronically to specialists and their care teams using the Excelicare referral management solution (RMS).
The referral sender initiates the eReferral from the Ocean eReferral Network. The referral is received directly within Excelicare so that the care team can triage and assess the patient for the most appropriate care . All relevant referral Information regarding the referral, including referral acceptance, status updates and scheduled appointments are securely sent to the referral sender within Ocean.
The eReferral component of the Ontario eServices Program is managed by Amplify Care and funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health.
The Ocean eReferral Network is owned and operated by OceanMD. The technology and licensing are made available as part of the Think Research Corporation.
Excelicare is owned and operated by Axsys Technology Ltd.
