PCP, Specialists, Specialty programs, and patients has removed a lot of the previous healthcare systems problems with respect to communication breakdowns and the lack of information related to a referral status.
As an office without a central EMR, Ocean has revolutionized our workflow. We previously faxed paper referrals which resulted in a number of care delays. Ocean allows us to track the referrals and I appreciate that emails are automatically generated when patient tests are booked and the patients are able to confirm with a click of a button. I would highly recommend Ocean and I have to other departments at our site.
