Upcoming Webinar on How eReferral is Building a More Connected Healthcare System

Webinar | October 29, 2026 | 12:15 p.m. EDT

A more connected healthcare system starts with making it easier for patients to access the care they need and for clinicians to coordinate that care efficiently. Digital solutions like eReferral are helping move this vision forward across Ontario by simplifying referral processes, strengthening collaboration, and reducing the administrative work that takes time away from patient care.

Join us for an upcoming webinar, eReferral: A Connected Care Success Story, to explore how a promising local innovation has grown into a provincial initiative supporting Ontario’s Patients Before Paperwork (Pb4P) strategy.

Effective referrals are essential to coordinated care, but traditional processes can create unnecessary administrative work, communication challenges, and delays in accessing services. eReferral offers a more streamlined approach, helping healthcare providers connect patients with the appropriate services while improving visibility and coordination throughout the referral journey.

As adoption expands across Ontario, eReferral is contributing to a broader shift toward more efficient, connected healthcare delivery. This webinar will examine the progress made so far, the practical benefits emerging across the system, and the partnerships that are helping advance this work.

Whether you are a clinician, healthcare administrator, digital health professional, or involved in healthcare system transformation, this session offers an opportunity to learn how digital referral solutions can support better experiences for both care providers and patients.

During the webinar, you’ll gain insights into:

  • The evolution of eReferral in Ontario: Discover how the initiative has expanded beyond its local roots to become an important part of the province’s efforts to reduce administrative burden.
  • The value of digital referrals: Explore how more efficient referral workflows can benefit clinicians, patients, healthcare organizations, and the wider health system.
  • Progress and lessons from implementation: Hear about the successes, experiences, and challenges that have shaped eReferral adoption across Ontario.
  • The power of collaboration: Learn why partnerships across the healthcare system are essential to advancing digital health initiatives and creating more coordinated care pathways.

The discussion will highlight not only what has been accomplished, but also how ongoing collaboration can help build on that progress.

The webinar brings together leaders with experience in clinical practice, healthcare transformation, and provincial digital health initiatives.
