About Sylvia
Sylvia Carney contributes senior-level privacy expertise to activities across Amplify, related to the development, implementation, and maintenance of digital health privacy policies and best practices in accordance with federal and provincial laws. She has established and monitors processes around privacy and threat assessments, audits, and reports on privacy risks associated with digital health tools and technologies with which Amplify is currently engaged or seeks to be engaged. Sylvia acts as a single point of contact to field questions and investigate concerns regarding adherence to privacy policies and standards and supports and facilitates understanding and discussion between those working in healthcare and jurisdictional authorities as required.
